Dr Tom Bendinger is an Anaesthetic and Pain Medicine Consultant.
This site is to introduce you to my work in spinal and joint pain, particularly invasive treatment of chronic back pain, neck and knee pain. Conditions such as facetogenic back pain, sciatica, degenerative disc disease and bulging discs are very common and can be treated with spinal injections or radiofrequency ablation. New fascinating options of knee pain treatment gives you a chance to avoid or delay major knee surgery which in about 20% of patients may increase knee pain even more.
I hope the information you find here will help you to have better understanding of what I might recommend or do for you and why.

I have seen Dr Bendinger in clinic and he was the first person who explained me my back pain condition. I'm very grateful for this as now I understand more and will manage my situation better.
He did a couple injections for me and they worked. I'm very grateful. The injections were not very pleasant but whole team in theatre was very supportive. I felt being looked after. I recommended this doctor to my friends.
I had knee test injection done by Dr Bendinger in NHS hospital. First injection started working just after couple of minutes. It was brilliant. I felt no pain for the first time in a long time. I agreed for next knee procedure which was more painful but it was worth to go through it. I would definitely recommend it.
